Both the buildings were constructed in the late 1960’s with reinforced concrete columns and beams with curtain walling and brick cladding.

The Magistrates Court has been converted into 11 No two bedroom flats with parking beneath. The curtain has been replaced with thermal block and insulated walls.

The redesign involved constructing a new central staircase and lifts and repiling the foundations. The principal rooms face South and most have sea views. A new penthouse floor was added in timber framing with sustainable timber cladding.

Police Station - This is a twin of the Magistrates Court and is to be developed in a similar style.
